Kiana Girigorie
Kiana Girigorie (Los Angeles, 1997). Studied Fine Art at the University of Arts in Utrecht and, graduated with honors in 2020. The works she graduated with are big-scaled, bright, colorful paintings that drew significant attention. An article about her work was published in the art magazine Metropolis M. During her graduation she was nominated for the Buning Brongers and Hivinisiki OV prizes. After her graduation, she exhibited her work at Het Hem where she got picked up by Lang Art Gallery. For the following two years, she lived and worked in Antwerp, Belgium. During her time in Belgium, she participated in the Biennale Mol alongside artists such as Wim T. Schippers. Now, she lives and works in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She organizes exhibitions at the nonprofit art space De Personeelskamer, hosting two exhibitions every month, located in Amsterdam.
